Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)

Skilled Worker Stream:
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) looks for recent graduates, skilled workers, business people, and their families with intention to settle successfully in Manitoba as permanent residents.
The MPNP selects international experienced workers who have the skills in the local labour market and invites them to apply for Canadian permanent residency to work and settle in Manitoba.
Candidates can apply under these streams:
- Skilled workers in Manitoba
- Skilled workers overseas
International Education Stream:
This stream is for recent international graduates from Manitoba. If you are an international graduate from another province of Canada, you will not be eligible to apply under this stream.

- Graduate Internship pathway
- International Student Entrepreneur Pilot
Business Investor Stream:
This Business Investor Stream replaces the current PNP-B business immigration category. BIS allows international business investors and entrepreneurs from around the world who are eligible to start or purchase businesses in Manitoba. Candidates are not required to submit a deposit of $100,000.

Who cannot apply to the MPNP?
The following are not eligible to submit an application to the MPNP:
- Refugee claimants, or individuals involved in a federal appeal or removal process
- Candidates Live-in Caregivers currently living in Canada
- International temporary foreign workers currently working and residing in a province other than Manitoba
- Dependents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents
- Applicants who have been refused by the MPNP within the last six months and who are not able to address the reasons for refusal
- Individuals who have an active immigration application with any other provincial immigration PNP program or federal immigration program in Canada
- Note: An Express Entry profile is not considered an immigration application.
Eligibility for Manitoba PNP program:
The MPNP for international skilled workers nominates applicants who demonstrate a strong connection to Manitoba through:
- Family member or friends in Manitoba
- Previous education or work experience in Manitoba
- Received Invitation to Apply (ITA) from the MPNP
